Hello and welcome to Plummer and Chins Big Adventure.
This website is intended to chronicle some of our stories, experiences and thoughts as we work, live and travel across Asia and beyond (that’s the dream). So basically it’s a travel blog.
At the moment we’re teaching English in South Korean Public Schools. You can find lot’s of information and stories regarding this under the above menu entitled perhaps surprisingly, “South Korea”.
Teaching in Korean public schools gives us a substantial amount of vacation time, which we try to make the most of. So far we’ve covered a fair bit of South-East Asia, but not enough. You can find lot’s of stories, summaries and thoughts on Asian countries we’ve visited under the drop-down menu labelled “The Rest of Asia”
We’ve grand plans to travel pretty much everywhere (having caught the travel bug a while back) and see as much of the world as we can, sadly that costs a lot of money.
Teaching in Korea is giving us the opportunity to save money and see the world one step at a time. Once we’ve saved enough, we’re going to leave and travel a lot. Whether that’s in six months or eighteen, we don’t know yet.
